Overview
The 4500 Series window system is designed to replicate the appearance of a curtain wall system, but with features and economization inherent in a window system. The ‘nose’ on the 4500 Series ‘strip-wall’ system is 3/4" deep and 2-1/2" across, perfectly replicating common curtain wall cap designs. Designed for ideal usage as a ‘strip window’ on multi-storey buildings, the designer can use true curtain wall for the multi-storey areas, with the 4500 Series system running in strips between, separated by horizontal runs of panels in a typical application. Bottom line: your building will appear to be entirely curtain wall, but with windows serving in the window situation. Advantages of ‘strip’ applications include economy (all work can be performed from interior) and ease of glass replacement.
