Pyroguard clear has been fire tested by UL and Intertek Warnock Hersey. |

Both photos were taken during the fire test performed
by UL Laboratories. The photo at the left was taken
a short time into the test, indicating that the glass in
Pyroguard clear cracks to allow the heat to activate
the resin. The resin then becomes brown and eventually
black, as shown in the photo at the right. It was
taken 22 minutes into the test. When the resin reacts
to the heat, it holds the glass together, thus giving
the necessary integrity to Pyroguard clear during
the fire. |
