Laminated safety glass is a multifunctional glazing
material that when impacted, typically breaks safely
and remains an integral part of the opening. Impulse
burglaries are resisted by the tough plastic interlayer.
Where should I use it?
Applications such as doors, sidelites, patio doors,
tub and shower enclosures, etc. that must meet the
requirements of the Consumer Products Safety
Commission (CPSC) 16 CFR 1201 Safety Standard
for Architectural Glazing Materials.
